Ebb Cade was the first person to receive this deadly concoction. Doctors wanted to observe the chemical’s bodily impact so they extracted fifteen of his teeth. His leg and arm bones were also removed. Cade escaped the hospital but ultimately died from heart failure. Other examinees suffered debilitating life-long complications.
