Slave Labor, Toxic Pollution & Deforestation: The Truth About Electric Vehicles

California recently made headlines after regulators announced a ban on all gas cars by 2035. Joe Biden’s administration will end all gas vehicle purchases in the coming years. Representatives from the US Department of Transportation declare fuel-powered engines are a threat to public health. As such, American-based automotive manufacturers that do not comply with strict emissions guidelines will receive hefty fines and federally-imposed penalties. While everyday citizens struggle to make ends meet due to rampant inflation, billions of tax dollars are being spent on Tesla charging stations. Authorities claim these measures combat ‘climate change’. However, electric vehicles are not beneficial for the planet and cause far more harm than good.

Destroys the Environment

Batteries used in electric vehicles require rare minerals such as lithium. Countless acres of pristine land are destroyed by mining operations each year. Trees, nature’s ultimate carbon dioxide filters, get chopped down at excavation sites. Mass deforestation displaces and kills off resident animals and insects. Unfortunately, the damage doesn’t end there. Once the batteries are disposed of, approximately 2% are recycled. Most wind up in landfills where their toxic contents leak into the surrounding environment. Graphite, one of the materials harvested for EV production, is a known pollutant that causes damage to surrounding ecosystems. Other chemicals dispersed during the boring process contaminate the waterways, soil, and air.

Wastes Water

Many regions have implemented strict water regulations and countries around the globe are experiencing severe droughts. Lithium mining requires astronomical quantities of H2O. To extract the coveted metal, miners must dig a deep hole and pump it full of water. After months of evaporation, lithium and other minerals come to the surface. Over 500,000 gallons of water are needed per ton of extracted lithium— totaling 33 billion gallons annually. Due to the extremely high demand, some communities no longer have enough water for farming. Additional issues arise when an EV’s battery ignites. These fires require up to 3,000 gallons of water to extinguish and can burn for 24 hours.

Produces More Carbon Dioxide

Contrary to popular belief, EVs are not emission-free. They require frequent battery charges which increase demand on the grid. About 80% of the power supply is generated by fossil fuels. A report from the University of Michigan’s Transportation Research Institute provides compelling data regarding electric vehicles. Calculations show EVs generate as much CO2 as a petrol-powered car that gets 29 miles per gallon. Another factor to consider is the manufacturing process. Electric vehicles have a shorter life expectancy than traditional automobiles and producing them requires a lot of energy. Spokesmen from the Union of Concerned Scientists determined EV’s have a carbon footprint up to 68% higher than gas cars.

Contributes to Slave Labor

Batteries in electric vehicles require cobalt. Three-quarters of Earth’s total supply is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tens of thousands of children are being sent underground where they are subjected to grueling labor. Dangerous working conditions lead to debilitating juries or deaths. Tragically, Africa is not the only continent engaging in horrific exploitation. Asia currently dominates the electronic import sector due to competitive pricing. Human slaves allow Big Tech corporations to keep their overhead extremely low. China’s western Xinjiang Province has detained one million Uyghurs. Many political prisoners are tortured and forced to work in factories. According to Bureau of International Labor Affairs affiliates, the CCP “limits workers’ freedom of movement and communication, subjects workers to constant surveillance, retributions for religious beliefs, exclusion from the community and social life, isolation, ideological indoctrination, and poor living conditions.”

Although gas cars are far from perfect, electric vehicles shouldn’t be considered an eco-friendly alternative. The worldwide ‘green’ push is a massive money-laundering scheme. Nancy Pelosi and her husband conveniently purchased $1 million in Tesla stock mere days before Biden announced the United States government will be buying 645,000 EVs. Corrupt bureaucrats with internal access to behind-the-scenes legislation conduct lucrative insider trading. Whether it comes to wars, COVID, or ‘safe and effective’ vaccines, everything we have been told has been a lie. Why would electric vehicles be any different? If you want to know the truth behind what’s really going on, take the official narrative and turn it upside-down.

Great points. The other major issue is the current power grid can’t handle the demand. I have no clue how they think it’s going to work in California. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out.

I think total chaos is what they want. No one at the top can be this incompetent. What’s happening now is by grand design.

It’s disgusting how these career politicians get away with insider trading. We need term limits. Pelosi has been playing this game since the days of JFK. These old creeps should be long retired by now. Our country is being run by senile geriatrics.

These cars have 24/7 surveillance. Sure our phones do as well, but you can choose to not have a phone but most people need a car. If they don’t like what you’re saying it would be simple to turn off the engine. Or even cause an “accident”. Autonomous vehicles keep drivers limited in where they can and can’t go. Look at the social credit scores in China. At a certain score they can prevent you from traveling all together.

They are purposely trying to destroy American businesses. Auto manufacturers employ hundreds of thousands of people. Most of the electric vehicles come from China, coincidentally one of the least environmentally friendly countries.

EVs start to get less toxic after 400k km, which I’m not sure they can do without battery failure. Hybrids, on the other hand, make much more sense emission-wise, but nobody’s pushing them.

There was a story recently where a grandpa bought his granddaughter her first car, a $10k used EV. 6 months later, the battery was dead. New battery? $14k 😀
